Abuja, Nigeria – The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN) has reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with medical laboratory technicians to elevate training and service standards across the profession.
This pledge was made by Acting Registrar Dr. Donald Ofili during a courtesy visit by the Association of Medical Laboratory Technicians and Assistants of Nigeria (AMELTAN) to his office in Abuja on Thursday.
Dr. Ofili praised AMELTAN for its dedication to professional excellence and its alignment with the MLSCN’s vision and mission. “We are fully committed to partnering with AMELTAN to ensure that our training and service delivery meet the highest standards,” he stated, highlighting the importance of collaboration in advancing the medical laboratory sector.
The AMELTAN delegation, led by National President Kasimu Shehu, described the visit as an opportunity to strengthen ties and foster mutual cooperation within the profession. “Our goal is to work hand-in-hand with the Council to drive progress and maintain the integrity of medical laboratory practice in Nigeria,” Mr. Shehu remarked.
