The Comptroller of the Nigeria Customs Service, Federal Operations Unit (FOU) Zone B, Kaduna, has officially handed over 58,740 sachets of Tramadol (100mg and 50mg) and 27 cartons of Analgin injection to the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC).
In a statement issued on Monday, NAFDAC confirmed the handover, noting that the items were received by the North-West Zonal Director, Dr Paul Faruna.
The handover is part of ongoing collaborative efforts between Customs and NAFDAC to curb the circulation of unregulated and potentially harmful pharmaceutical products across the country.
