The family of former Kano State Governor and ex-National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has remained silent amid reports that he has been rushed to a specialist hospital in London following a critical health emergency.
Although the report has not been officially confirmed, online sources indicate that Ganduje is currently undergoing emergency medical attention abroad.
A post widely circulated on social media claimed that the former governor was in a serious condition and had been taken to the emergency department of a hospital in the United Kingdom.
“Ganduje is in critical condition now, and he has been rushed to the emergency department of specialist doctors in a London hospital. He is in need of our prayers,” the post read.
Efforts to reach Ganduje’s family members or close associates for confirmation proved abortive as of the time of filing this report.
The development comes just days after the death of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away in London on July 13, 2025, while receiving treatment.
