Former Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has died in London. The announcement was made on Sunday by the Digital media aide to the late leader, Garba Shehu.
In a brief statement, Shehu confirmed that the former president passed away in a clinic in London earlier in the afternoon.
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji’un. The family of the former president has announced the passing on of Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR, this afternoon in a clinic in London. May Allah accept him in Aljannatul Firdaus, Amin,” the statement read.
