The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has sealed the Access Bank building located at Wuse Market in Abuja over non-payment of ground rent spanning 34 years.
The Senior Special Adviser on Public Communications and Social Media to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, Mr. Lere Olayinka, disclosed this development on Monday via a public statement.
“The property being occupied by Access Bank, Wuse Market, Abuja is owing 34 years ground rent,” Olayinka stated.
The revocation is part of an ongoing enforcement drive by the FCTA to recover outstanding ground rents from defaulting individuals and corporate bodies across the territory.
