A fire outbreak occurred at Cue Bar Plaza, opposite Zenith Bank on Ademola Adetokunbo Crescent, Wuse 2, Abuja, at about 10:50 a.m. on Friday.
According to a statement released by the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) on their X (formerly known as Twitter) account on Friday, the fire originated from a spa within the building before spreading to a neighbouring facility. Emergency response teams from the FCT Fire Service, Federal Fire Service, NEMA Headquarters, and NEMA Abuja Operations Office were swiftly deployed to the scene.
One person reportedly sustained a limb fracture during the incident and was promptly evacuated to the hospital for medical attention.
The fire was successfully contained, and the premises have been handed over to the Maitama Division of the Nigeria Police for further security action.
