The cardinals are filing out in a pool for the conclave, BBC reports.
“We are now seeing the start of the cardinals’ procession from the Pauline Chapel to the Sistine Chapel”, BBC said in a live report.
It is in the famous Sistine Chapel that the election of the new pope will take place – and have done so since the 15th Century.
