The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mock test held on Thursday, April 10, 2025.
According to a statement signed by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin on Sunday, candidates who participated in the optional mock exercise can check their results by sending “MOCKRESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 via the phone number they used for registration.
Out of 200,115 candidates who initially expressed interest, two withdrew, while 73,844 candidates were absent and 88 others failed biometric verification. Consequently, only 126,181 candidates sat for the exam, and results for 115,735 have been released. The results of the remaining 10,446 candidates are still being processed and will be released shortly.
Dr. Benjamin noted that the mock test allows JAMB to trial new innovations and offers candidates an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment. While acknowledging some delays experienced at various centres, the Board described the issues as expected during the rollout of new features ahead of the main UTME.
JAMB urged candidates to remain focused and committed as it continues to enhance the examination process for improved outcomes.
