Breaking: Fire Razes Northwest University, Kano, Former Ado Bayero House

A raging fire has engulfed Ado Bayero House, now Northwest University, Kano City campus, in the heart of the state metropolis.

The fire reportedly started around 11: 30 a.m., yet, as of the time of filing this report, there are no firefighters on the scene to contain the inferno.

The AHR learnt that the thick smoke and flames have consumed parts of the building, which serves as an offices for the academic institution.

Panic has gripped staff, and passersby as they scramble for safety, with no visible efforts yet to put out the fire.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and officials are yet to release a statement regarding the incident.
