The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has strongly condemned recent attacks on security personnel by proscribed groups, warning that such lawlessness will not be tolerated.
In a statement issued by the FCT Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, on Saturday, the command emphasized that security operatives must be respected and protected while carrying out their duties.
“Attacks on security forces by proscribed groups without provocation are unacceptable and will not be tolerated,” Adeh stated. “This lawlessness must stop. The rule of law must prevail.”
The police reassured residents that they remain committed to maintaining peace and security in the capital, urging the public to support law enforcement efforts.
