Suspended Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has made his first public appearance since sack from office, attending a church service Sunday at the headquarters of Salvation Ministries in GRA, Port Harcourt, capital of Rivers state.

Fubara, accompanied by his Chief of Staff, Edison Ehie, was seen interacting with worshippers and church officials during the service.

His presence reportedly drew attention, with many attendees perceiving it as a show of resilience amid the ongoing political crisis in the state.

Fubara’s public appearance has doused tensions following calls and reports saying his whereabouts was unknown after he was kicked out of office as  President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers State last Tuesday, citing escalating political tensions and security threats.
