President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Temitola Adekunle-Johnson as Special Adviser on Job Creation & MSME and Uju Anwuka as Senior Special Assistant on Public Health, both serving in the Office of the Vice President.
The announcement was made on Wednesday in a statement by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Communication. He stated that the appointments align with the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda and take immediate effect.
Adekunle-Johnson previously served as Senior Special Assistant in the Vice President’s office, where he oversaw initiatives such as the Expanded National MSME Clinics and the Shared Facility Initiative. Anwuka, who was formerly a Special Assistant, has played a key role in efforts to tackle malnutrition and hunger, particularly through the Nutrition 774 Initiative.
The newly appointed officials are expected to continue driving policies that support job creation, small businesses, and public health in Nigeria.
