Pastor Adeboye Marks 83rd Birthday Gifts Free Medical Surgeries for Nigerians

In a remarkable gesture to commemorate his 83rd birthday, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has launched a series of free medical surgeries aimed at improving community health and well-being.

Born on March 2, 1942, in Ifewara, Osun State, Pastor Adeboye is extending his birthday celebration beyond personal milestones to touch the lives of those in need. His son, Pastor Leke Adeboye, announced the initiative in a statement on Thursday, emphasizing the church’s commitment to social responsibility.

“As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, we aim to provide free medical care in key areas such as obstetrics, gynecology, general and eye surgeries, and even dialysis sessions,” Pastor Leke Adeboye stated.

The initiative will be carried out through the Redeemer’s Health Centre, further reinforcing the RCCG’s dedication to healthcare interventions across Nigeria. “We believe that everyone should have access to essential healthcare services, and this program is a reflection of that belief,” the statement added.

Interested participants can register by reaching out via designated phone contacts or visiting the health center’s location. The church also highlighted its extensive reach in health initiatives, noting that over nine million individuals have benefitted from its free healthcare services.

“Pastor Adeboye’s focus on giving back has undeniably changed lives,” the statement read, adding that RCCG’s interventions have touched more than 166 million lives and completed nearly a million projects.

With over 33,052 healthcare projects executed and the establishment of four intensive care units across various locations, the RCCG’s commitment to societal well-being remains unwavering.

“We are excited for this opportunity to serve and uplift those among us who are in need,” Pastor Leke Adeboye added.
