Presidency Urges Nigerians to Embrace Multiple Income Streams Amid Economic Challenges

In light of Nigeria’s current economic challenges, Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Information and Strategy, has encouraged citizens to seek out alternative income sources to support themselves.

Speaking on Channels Television on Tuesday, Onanuga emphasized the need for individuals to seek financial alternatives beyond their primary earnings.

You can’t rely on a single source of income,” he said. “Look for additional ways to increase your earnings. If there’s agricultural land nearby, consider farming it to grow your own crops, which can help lower your costs.

He encouraged Nigerians to adopt proactive measures to handle the current economic challenges, stating, “There are practical actions you can take to thrive in the current economy. Individuals need to seek their own solutions.”

His comments arise in the context of increasing inflation and elevated living expenses, which have created financial strain for numerous households nationwide.
