Kano Govt Promotes 2,000 Senior Secondary School Staff 

 Kano, Nigeria – The Kano State Senior Secondary Schools Management Board has promoted 2,000 staff members in the first quarter of 2025, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing the quality of education in the state.

The Board’s Executive Secretary, Alhaji Rabi’u Sale Gwarzo, who announced this on Friday during an inspection tour of senior secondary schools in Kano Municipal Local Government Area, assured parents of the Board’s dedication to maintaining high educational standards and discipline to secure a better future for students.

Gwarzo highlighted that the Board has inspected 422 senior secondary schools nationwide to ensure a balanced and high-quality education system.

He commended Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, and Deputy Governor/Commissioner for Higher Education, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, for their efforts in transforming Kano into a model city.

He urged the public to continue supporting the administration of Governor Yusuf in achieving its educational goals and further encouraged parents to enrol their children in nearby schools to ensure access to quality education.

He also advised parents to visit their children’s schools regularly to motivate both students and teachers and foster a more productive learning environment.
