PSC Chairman Warns Officers to Stay Clear of Civil Matters

The Police Service Commission PSC Chairman Hashimu Argungu sends a stern warning to the Officers to stay clear of civil matters such as land, marital issues, debt collection and others

According to a statement sent to Africa Health Report (AHR) on Tuesday by the Head of Press and Public Relations of the Commission Ikechukwu Ani, This was stated at the Commission’s meeting which was presided over by the Chairman of the Commission DIG Hashimu Argungu (retired) on Tuesday

Argungu further states that the Commission will continue to monitor them and support them so as to give off their best likewise deal decisively with anyone who gets involved over such issues. He said that such matters should be left to the court to adjudicate on

During the meeting, 19 officers were approved for promotion with 3 promoted to Assistant Inspectors General and 16 others promoted to Commissioner of Police

The Three officers, Garba Ahmed, Nemi Edwin Osigoboka iwo, Salman Garba Dogo were promoted to AIG from Commissioner of Police, while the 16 others were promoted to CP from Deputy Commissioners
