Suspected bandits have kidnapped Brigadier General Maharazu Tsiga (rtd.), a former Director-General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), along with 12 others in Tsiga village, Bakori Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Sources revealed that the abduction took place around midnight on Wednesday. However, no casualties were reported during the attack.
Efforts to obtain a statement from the Katsina State Police Command were unsuccessful, as the command’s spokesperson, DSP Sadig Abubakar, had yet to respond to inquiries at the time of filing this report.
