Max Air Halts Domestic Operations for 90 Days

Max Air has announced a temporary suspension of all domestic flight operations for 90 days, effective midnight, January 31, 2025, to conduct an internal operational evaluation.

The announcement was contained in a post on the airline’s official Facebook page, which was sighted by the Africa Health Report correspondent in Kano.

According to the statement, the decision underscores Max Air’s “unwavering commitment to passenger safety and service excellence.”

The airline assured affected passengers that they would be eligible for full refunds, while its customer service team remains available to assist with inquiries. It also stated that it is working with aviation authorities to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

“We deeply regret any inconvenience this may cause, but we believe this investment in safety and reliability will enhance service quality for years to come,” the statement read.
