Governor Mallam Umar Namadi yesterday, Wednesday, visited the Dutse General Hospital, the venue for the first phase of the government-sponsored free eye treatment program in Jigawa State. The initiative aims to provide essential eye care to approximately 5,500 residents with various eye defects across the state.
The program, a key part of the administration’s healthcare intervention, includes comprehensive eye tests, surgeries, and the distribution of eyeglasses to beneficiaries. During his visit, Governor Namadi expressed his administration’s commitment to improving access to quality healthcare for all citizens.
