Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Professor Akin Abayomi, has undergone successful eye surgery at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
Abayomi took to his official Instagram page to share the news on Saturday, expressing his gratitude to the medical team that handled his case.
“Thrilled to share that I just had a successful eye surgery at LASUTH! Huge thanks to the incredible oculoplastic surgeons in the Eye Department, especially Prof. Mrs. Bola Adekoya and Dr. Rosemay Ngwu, for their expertise and for making the procedure painless,” he said.
Abayomi also praised the nursing care team, led by Apex nurse Adejoke Okeowo, and the hospital’s management, led by Chief Medical Director Professor Adetokunbo Fabanwo.
“Deep gratitude to Prof. Adebowale Adekoya, director of Clinical Services and Training at LASUTH, for leading such an excellent team… Cheers to all the dedicated staff at LASUTH for their outstanding services!” he added.
The commissioner’s experience at LASUTH is a testament to the hospital’s expertise and commitment to providing quality healthcare services.
