The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has expressed heartfelt condolences to the Kwara State Government over the death of Mahe Abdulkadir, Chief of Staff to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
In a statement released on Sunday by Akintunde Sawyerr, NELFUND’s Managing Director, The organization extended sympathies to Governor AbdulRazaq, the Abdulkadir family, and the people of Kwara State.
“On behalf of the management and staff of NELFUND, we offer our deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this period of immense loss. May the Almighty grant the departed eternal rest and provide comfort to those he left behind,”.
“His exemplary leadership and remarkable contributions to the development of Kwara State will be remembered as a legacy of service to his state and the nation,” the statement said.
Mahe Abdulkadir passed away on Saturday at the age of 73. He was the eldest son of the 10th Emir of Ilorin, Aliyu Abdulkadir.
Appointed Chief of Staff 17 months ago, Abdulkadir succeeded Adisa Logun, who passed away during Governor AbdulRazaq’s first term.
