Jigawa Gov Sacks Special Assistant on Gender

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State has relieved Khadija Sidi Suleiman of her position as Special Assistant to the Governor on Gender.

The decision was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Bala Ibrahim, and made available to the press on Wednesday.

The statement did not provide specific reasons for the dismissal but stated that all rights and privileges associated with the position have been withdrawn.

Khadija Sidi Suleiman has been instructed to immediately return all government property in her possession to the Secretary to the State Government’s office.

The statement concluded by expressing appreciation for Suleiman’s service to the state and wishing her well in her future endeavours.
