A fatal multiple truck accident occurred on Kara Bridge in Lagos State on Wednesday, claiming the life of an unidentified adult male driver.
According to Nosa Okunbor, Public Relations Officer of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), the incident happened at 4:26 AM and involved a truck carrying steel coils and a 40ft container.
LASEMA’s investigation revealed that the truck driver lost control while trying to avoid a collision, causing the vehicle to fall on its side and discharge its cargo onto the carriageway.
“An unidentified adult male driver lost his life in the incident, and the body had been removed before the arrival of the Agency’s Response Team,” Okunbor stated.
LASEMA’s response team is coordinating the recovery operation, working to evacuate the impediments and restore vehicular activity.
As of the time of fling this report, Africa Health Report (AHR) gathered that collaborative efforts by various agencies, are ongoing to ensure a swift return to normalcy.
