In an effort to address Nigeria’s housing shortage, President Bola Tinubu plans to inaugurate 1,000 housing units in Abuja’s Renewed Hope City in December 2024.
This achievement is a component of a larger project that began in February 2024, aimed at building 3,112 housing units across the country.
During the PEWAN awards held in Lagos on November 28, Housing Minister Ahmed Musa Dangiwa highlighted the importance of the project. He announced that the housing units would be accessible for purchase through an online portal, facilitating convenient access for Nigerians.
Housing Minister Ahmed Musa Dangiwa expressed that “this project reflects our administration’s dedication to addressing Nigeria’s housing shortage with affordable and accessible solutions.
Dangiwa, honored at the event for his commitment to affordable housing and accessible mortgage options, conveyed his belief in the project’s ability to create significant change.
He emphasized that it supports the federal government’s Renewed Hope Agenda aimed at enhancing the living conditions for all Nigerians.
