JUST IN: Identity of Cross-Dresser Found Dead on Abuja Expressway, Revealed

The Police Command of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has identified the male cross-dresser whose body was found on the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on August 8, 2024. Initially thought to be female, the deceased has been confirmed as 33-year-old Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, originally from Afikpo North Local Government Area in Ebonyi State, who resided in Dapé, Karmo Area of Abuja.

This was revealed in a press statement issued by the FCT Police Command on its X account and made available to Africa Health Report on Wednesday.

FCT Police Commissioner, CP Benneth C. Igweh, has ordered a discreet investigation into the case of culpable homicide.

According to the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Josephine Adeh, “the family of the deceased has been contacted and is assisting the police with necessary information.”

“Further developments will be communicated in due course,” Adeh added.
