The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) is holding an emergency meeting in Abuja following the Nigeria Police’s recent invitation to its president, Comrade Joe Ajaero. Africa Health Report AHR has learnt.
The spokesperson for the congress, Benson Upah, made this known in a statement he signed and made available to journalists.
A police letter, dated August 19, 2024, from ACP Adamu Mu’azu on behalf of the Commissioner of Police Intelligence, accuses Ajaero of involvement in serious offenses including criminal conspiracy, terrorism financing, reasonable felony, subversion, and cybercrime.
Ajaero has been directed to report to the IRT Complex by Guzape Junction on today been August 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM or face arrest.
