The Oyo State Government has taken a step to launch investigations to unravel the circumstances surrounding the death of a patient at a popular private hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The state’s Commissioner for health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi made the incident known during the weekend in a statement.
The statement reads: “It has come to the attention of the Ministry of Health, Oyo State, of a video clip in circulation over an unfortunate incidence of a loss of life that occurred to one of the patients at a prominent private hospital in Ibadan.
“On behalf of Oyo State Government, the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Oluwaserimi Ajetunmobi, wishes to commiserate with the family of the deceased.”
The statement added that the Ministry will keep the public updated as the investigation continues.
