Corruption: ICPC Arraigns Dismissed NECO Staff Over Alleged Certificate Forgery

The Independent Corrupt Practices Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has arraigned a dismissed staff of the National Examination Council (NECO), Mrs. Rose Deffi over allegation of certificate forgery.

This was disclosed on Monday by the Commission’s spokesperson, Demola Bakare, who said Mrs Deffi  pleaded not guilty to the seven counts forgery charge against her.

The presiding judge, Justice Fwomyon after listening to the arguments from both counsels granted Mrs. Deffi bailed at N2 million with two sureties of the same amount and the case was adjourned to September 26th for trial commencement.
