The president and founder of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has shared his perspective on the recent fire incident at the church’s headquarters in Lagos on Sunday.
Oyakhilome sees the recent fire as an opportunity for growth, saying, “Now that this has happened, we will build a bigger, better, and more glorious one and the devil will lick his wound.”
Speaking further on the incident in a statement, Oyakhilome stated, “Nothing happens in the life of a child of God by accident.”
He recalled a past incident where the building vibrated during a bombing, prompting thoughts of rebuilding bigger and better.
As reported earlier by Africa Health Report, the church headquarters in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, caught fire on Sunday morning.
This is not the first time the property has faced such a challenge, as it was gutted by fire in 2014.
