Lagos Issues Measures on Cholera Outbreak as Schools Resume

The Lagos State Ministry of Health (LSMOH) has issued precautionary measures to parents, guardians and schools as school resumes mid-term and Sallah break.

This was confirmed on the official X platform of LSMOH on Wednesday where the ministry listed daily prerequisites for parents, guardians and schools to adhere as we curb the cholera outbreak.

LSMOH prerequisites include, daily health checks of a child’s health before leaving for school, proper hand hygiene and use of hand sanitizer, hygienic food handlers, ensure availability of oral rehydration salts (ORS) at school clinics, updated information of child’s health and every school should notify the ministry emergency hotlines (08137412348, 08023169485) for health emergencies.
