Amidst the current hunger crisis, the Africa Development Bank Group (ADBG) is set to launch the Agri-Small Medium Enterprise (SME) to aid African food system.
This was confirmed in the group official X platform on Wednesday.
The Agri-SME is a program that falls under the Agri-Food SME catalytic Financing Mechanism (ACFM) technical assistance window implemented by Open Capital.
The launch is set to take off June 20th in 20 Sub-Sharan African Countries including Nigeria.
It is designed to run for two years with aim to build investable small and medium enterprises in the agricultural sector across African food systems to facilitate easy access to finance.
