Health Security: NCDC Doles Out Free Medical Surgery in Rivers, Bayelsa

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has targeted free medical surgery in oil regions across Rivers and Bayelsa States.

This was confirmed by the NDDC Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku in a week-long free healthcare programme by the  NDDC and Ecclestine Concept Limited.

Ogbuku stated that the programme’s mission is to provide health care services to neglected rural communities in the Niger Delta region.

“The free medical outreach has been on the flagship programmes of the commissioning, serving the medically needy communities, with documented evidence and abounding testimonies of its beneficial impact in enhancing the quality of life of the rural poor in the region,” he stated.
