Kano Mosque Attack: Tinubu Condemns Action, Commiserates with Bereaved

Following Africa Health Report (AHR) of how a man sprayed a mosque with petrol and locked its doors before setting it on fire, killing over 11 worshippers and dozens injured last week

In response to this, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu condemns the use of arson while sending his condolences to victims according to a press statement by Ajuri Ngelale, the president’s special adviser on Tuesday.

“President Bola Tinubu sends his condolences to the Government and people of Kano State over the fire incident that led to the death of some worshippers at a mosque at Larabar Abasawa in Gezawa Local Government Area of the state.

“The President condemns the act of arson, which led to this tragic development, and directs law enforcement agencies to ensure diligent investigation and prosecution of suspects.

President Tinubu commiserates with the bereaved families, all those affected, and prays for quick recovery for the wounded” .The statement reads.
