The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) has collaborated with the Ministry of Communication Innovation and Digital Economy (MoCIDE) to fight corruption through Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI).
This is contained in a statement was by Mr Demola Bakare, the ICPC spokesman and confirmed by the ICPC chairman, Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu on Friday.
Adamu, in the statement, said this collaboration will enhance free-corruption and leave no room for misappropriation of public funds.
“through our partnership with MoCIDE, ICPC will harness the power of DPI to enhance public registries and create an environment where corruption finds no refuge. By leveraging state-of-the-art digital solutions, we aim to establish a robust framework that leaves no room for the misappropriation of public funds or the concealment of ill-gotten gains,” the ICPC boss said.
ICPC said it is dedicated to pursuing a corruption- free society and called on other stakeholders such as government institutions, private sectors, civil society to build a transparent society together.
