President Bola Tinubu has expressed eagerness to improve collaboration in education, mining, culture, and tourism with the newly-appointed ambassadors to Nigeria.
Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, announced on Friday that President Tinubu had received letters of credence from newly-appointed ambassadors, with a focus on mining and education
During individual meetings with the diplomats, President Tinubu guaranteed Nigeria’s backing for a successful visit and reiterated his administration’s dedication to fostering strong economic, cultural, and diplomatic ties through an open-door policy.
Tinubu highlighted the significance of cooperation on trade, investment, and the Technical Aids Corps while addressing the visit from the High Commissioner of Jamaica.
“Nigeria has restated its willingness to strengthen energy cooperation with Jamaica, focusing on addressing climate change and the use of gas as a transitional fuel
“The main purpose of a relationship is for both individuals to have a deep understanding of each other.
The President highlighted the strong connection between Nigeria and Jamaica due to their vibrant and skilled youth populations, stating that there is great potential for collaboration in culture and tourism that will be advantageous for the young people of both nations.
The High Commissioner of Jamaica indicated that the Prime Minister is open to collaborating with Nigeria in areas such as energy, trade, investment, culture, and tourism.
Downer revealed intentions for a delegation of Jamaican businesses to travel to Nigeria later in the year and encouraged Nigerian investors to consider potential opportunities within Jamaica’s special economic zones.
During the meeting with the Australian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Tinubu conveyed gratitude for the enduring bond between Nigeria and Australia.
