Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali expresses displeasure over contractors sluggishness in meeting up with rehabilitation of Port Harcourt- Aba rail.
This was confirmed in a press statement signed by Olujimi Oyetomi, the public relation officer on 29th of March.
Alkali visited the site in company of his permanent Secretary, Olufemi Oloruntola with his Aides on Friday where he found out the rail rehabilitation work has not met the desired scheduled pace.
He chided the workers handling the protection and charges to complete the project before April while stating Federal Government funding support of 13% and tasked the contractors to source for more funds.
