President Bola Tinubu has expressed appreciation for the release of the Kuriga school children and emphasized the importance of ensuring that schools are safe and secure environments for learning.
This was disclosed in a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, on Sunday.
Tinubu highlights the significance of cooperation between the federal government and states, especially in areas concerning security, to achieve desired results.
The President praises the National Security Adviser, Security Agencies, and Kaduna State Government for their quick and thorough response to the situation. He emphasizes that acting promptly, paying attention to detail, and showing unwavering dedication are crucial for successful outcomes in cases of large-scale abductions.
Tinubu also expresses his appreciation for the successful release of students from a Tsangaya school in Sokoto State, praising all involved for their bravery and hard work.
He promised Nigerians that his government is implementing specific plans to ensure that schools continue to be safe places for learning, not locations for random kidnappings.
