Abuja Warehouse Looting by Frustrated Nigerians Message to Tinubu- Adegboruwa

A Senior Advocate of Nigeria, SAN, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, says Sunday’s looting of authority’s warehouse in Abuja displays the frustration of most Nigerians who are struggling with the financial insurance policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Adegboruwa, who appeared on Channels Television’s The Morning Breakfast show, on Monday, said this is a message to the President and his monetary team that the system must be reformed to ensure the survival of most Nigerians.

He said “The whole state of Nigeria is now in a crisis of human survival. So it is now not simply this incident, a truck carrying food used to be randomly attacked and robbed.

“I do not guide it in any way because we have to have surroundings where we can secure life and property.

“But it reflects the reality that the monetary policies of the modern-day administration are no longer assisting the people of the country, and of route these occasions exhibit people’s frustration.

“You comprehend what they say, we pray that we do not cease up in a scenario the place the bad upward thrust up to eat the rich. I suppose the message to the president and contributors of his financial team is that the system desires to be reformed .in a way that approves the majority of people to survive.

” One of the policies of the Tinubu administration, which has greatly affected the financial system with the expand in the price of goods, is the elimination of gasoline subsidy.

According to Adegboruwa, this coverage has affected the people badly. The outcomes of the removal of gasoline subsidy made it challenging for humans to move from one excessive to the other. This comes after it was reported that Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Agriculture warehouse was looted by residents of Abuja on Sunday.

Residents raided the warehouse and took away food and different goods.
