NiMET Warns Delta, Others of Hazy Weather

The Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) has issued a caution to the states of Delta, Bayelsa, and Rivers regarding cloudy and hazy weather conditions, with a low possibility of isolated thunderstorms.

The agency also advised individuals with asthma and airlines to take precautions against the weather to prevent potential health issues.

NiMET released this information in its weather report from Abuja on Tuesday, emphasising the importance of obtaining updated weather reports for effective planning of operations, particularly for airline operators.

The report highlighted the expectation of slight dust haze over the inland areas of the South, along with a few clouds in the hazy atmosphere over coastal cities, adding that there are slim prospects of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa states during the afternoon and evening periods.

For the upcoming days, NiMET anticipates a sunny and hazy atmosphere over the North and North Central regions, with a slight dust haze expected over the inland areas of the South. Stating, “There are also predictions of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa states during the afternoon and evening periods.”.

  1. It’s like you read my mind You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book. I believe you could use a few pictures to drive home the message, but other than that this is a wonderful site. I’ll definitely be back.

  2. I loved you even more than you’ll say here. The picture is nice and your writing is stylish, but you read it quickly. I think you should give it another chance soon. I’ll likely do that again and again if you keep this walk safe.
