FG Allocates N100 Billion for School Feeding Program

The federal government has announced that it had included an N100 billion naira allocation for the School Feeding Program to improve attendance and tackle Malnutrition among students.

President Bola Tinubu announced this in Abuja on Monday while signing the 2024 appropriation bill into law.

Tinubu expressed his belief that the “Renewed Hope” budget focuses on reducing recurrent expenditure while increasing capital expenditure. Stating, “I believe this will serve as an incentive for school enrollment and help tackle student malnutrition.

“I will convene meetings with local governments at the sub-national level to collaborate and jointly implement a comprehensive program.”
