River State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the sum of one hundred thousand naira as Christmas bonus for all workers in the state.
This was disclosed by Rivers State Commissioner for Information, Mr. Joe Johnson, on Tuesday.
He added that the approval is with immediate effect to “enable the civil servants to have a wonderful yuletide celebration.”
The Commissioner added that the Governor will continue improve the welfare of civil servants and serve the interest of the common men in the society.
