Nurses, Midwives Urged to Provide Excellent Service in Health Centers

The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has urged its members across the country to continue providing excellent services in the nation’s health centers.

The call to action was made at the association’s dinner and award night to mark the end of 2023 FCT Nurses Week and Annual General Meeting (AGM)in Abuja by the Chairman of NANNM, FCT Chapter, Deborah Yusuf.

According to her, the professionalism of nurses and midwives is key in ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.

“Your accomplishment is a significant impact to the health sector and the nation at large, this also serves as an encouragement to other Nigerians.

“The National Association of Nigerian Nurses and Midwives would like to remind its members of their crucial role in the healthcare system,” the statement read. “We urge nurses and midwives across the country to continue providing excellent services to patients in our health centers, clinics, and hospitals,” she said.
