Four persons were on Tuesday from an unidentified helicopter that crashed in the Ikeja area of Lagos.
The helicopter crashed along the Oba Akran road in Ikeja in the afternoon.
At the time of this report, officials of the Lagos Fire and Rescue Service were currently at the scene for the rescue exercise.
Gboyega Akosile, chief press secretary (CPS) to the Lagos state governor, in a tweet, said four persons, including the pilot, were in the helicopter.
He added that the four persons were rescued alive from the ill-fated chopper and have been transferred to the hospital.
“A helicopter containing four persons, including the pilot crash landed in front of the UBA branch in Ikeja. All four casualties have been retrieved from the aircraft alive. They have been transferred to the hospital for further care. LASEMA, Lagos Fire Service on the ground,” Akosile wrote.
