The Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, has insisted that the board can prove that Miss Ejikeme Joy Mmesome forged her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination result.
Ejikeme has been awarded a N3 million scholarship by Anambra State Government after she was said to have scored 362 in the exam.
But JAMB has disowned the result, saying it was manually manipulated to produce the high score.
On Monday, Ejikeme released a video which was widely shared on social media, claiming that she earned the scores on her controversial result.
But Oloyede, who spoke on the matter on Tuesday, said any further examination into the Ejikeme result falsification story will show that the result is a fake and a sloppy forgery.
Oloyede said: “The truth is that JAMB has concluded investigation on mmesoma’s score falsification matter, she was not the only one caught just that others have chosen not to go out.
“Presently there is an industry faking results and unfortunately, they cannot penetrate JAMB’s system, reasons being that it is full proofed and we will prove it any time. It is unfortunate that parents and some of the candidates that are being fooled are not aware that they are only been fooled.
“There is internal evidence to show that the change in Ejikeme’s scores was done with her collaboration. There are certain features pertaining to her that only her knows unless she makes it available to somebody else they couldn’t have increased her scores on her behalf.”
