Tinubu appoints Gbajabiamila as Chief of Staff, Akume SGF

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, as his Chief of Staff.
The appointment came barely 5 days after Tinubu took his oath of office as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the next 4 years.
Also appointed is former Benue State Governor and immediate past Minister of Special Duties, George Akume, as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, made the disclosure of the appointments in a press statement issued on Friday, June 2, 2023.
The statement added that Sen. Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, a former Deputy Governor of Jigawa State, was also appointed Deputy Chief of Staff to the President.
