The declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), of the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, as Nigeria’s President-elect has generated lots of mixed reactions from Nigerians.
The declaration made by INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, in the early hours of today has also generated diverse reactions from the social media
The APC chieftain and the former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode was delighted as he tweeted: “Congrats to President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu (@officialABAT) for a resounding, historic & well-deserved victory after a hard-fought fight. We give the Lord praise and thanksgiving for what He has done. He is mighty in battle and faithful to His own. To Him alone be the glory.”

Media personality Osi Suave Tweeted: “Tinubu has been declared president-elect. And by extension is on course to become president come May 29. He has his work cut out for him; a country to unite, an ailing economy to revive and institutions to strengthen. I pray for his success If he succeeds, Nigeria succeeds.
