Kano Govt Boosts Legal Sector with 70 New Lawyers

In a significant move to bolster its legal sector and create employment opportunities, the Kano State Government has recently hired 70 new lawyers.

Aliyu Yusuf, Director of Public Enlightenment at the Office of the Head of Civil Service, announced this development in a statement released on Friday.

The initiative aims to enhance service delivery within the state’s judiciary while addressing the prevailing unemployment challenges.

Yusuf emphasised that the governor’s visionary leadership has made this recruitment possible, paving the way for more efficient and effective legal services.

The Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, personally oversaw the final interviews of the candidates and commended the governor’s commitment to strengthening state institutions.

The newly employed lawyers are expected to play a crucial role in bolstering the state judiciary, which has long sought additional legal expertise.

The Head of Service urged the recruits to uphold the highest standards of integrity, dedication, and accountability in their professional duties.

Yusuf concluded by highlighting the state government’s ongoing efforts to empower its citizens and foster sustainable development through initiatives like this.
