FCT Police Bans Tinted Vehicle Glasses over Rising Insecurity

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced a ban on the use of tinted vehicle glasses in Abuja.

The directive, aimed at combating the increasing cases of “one chance” and other criminal activities in the capital, requires all vehicle owners with tinted glasses to remove them immediately.

In a video shared on Wednesday by SP Josephine Adeh, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), it was announced: “The use of tinted vehicle windows is now prohibited. Vehicle owners are urged to remove tinted glasses to avoid their vehicles being impounded.”

This measure is part of a broader strategy to enhance public safety and address rising security concerns in the FCT. Vehicle owners are urged to comply with the directive to avoid penalties.
