The Ekiti State Government has approved a whopping N3 billion for the purchase of medical equipment at the multipurpose building of the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH) in Ado-Ekiti.
This approval was made at the state executive council meeting chaired by Governor Biodun Oyebanji on Friday.

The government also approved N234,468,218.50 for the construction of six security houses and the renovation of two existing buildings as security houses at selected farm settlements in the state.
This move is aimed at securing farm settlements and protecting farmers and their livelihood.

The new WASH law aims to regulate and improve water, sanitation, and hygiene services within the state.
This development is expected to have a positive impact on the lives of Ekiti residents.
Governor Oyebanji has reaffirmed his commitment to developing the state’s infrastructure, including healthcare facilities.
Recently, he flagged off the construction of an 80-bed multipurpose hospital facility at EKSUTH, which is expected to be completed within a year.
These approvals demonstrate the Ekiti State Government’s commitment to improving the lives of its citizens.
With these projects, the government aims to enhance healthcare services, promote economic development, and ensure the safety and security of farmers and their livelihood.
